Requirement:

Minimum of 8 years of experience of high-level management of health related projects.
S/he is expected to have experience in, and a deep understanding of nutrition, infant and young child feeding (IYCF), WASH and other areas related to community health, including the key drivers of under nutrition, malnutrition, and stunting. Prior experience as Chief of Party/ Deputy Chief of Party or similar position is strongly desired.

Job Description / Responsibility

Save the Children invites applications for a Chief of Party (COP) position for an upcoming USAID-funded project in Bangladesh. The goal of the upcoming project is to strengthen nutrition leadership at the national and subnational level for improved multi-sectoral nutrition service delivery and coordination for accelerated progress in addressing both over and under nutrition.
The COP will be responsible for providing technical leadership and overall management direction for the project. S/he is also responsible for project inputs, program strategy, external representation and coordination with project counterparts, USAID, the Government of Bangladesh, other donors within the sector and other programs as necessary. S/he will ensure that efficient systems to support all aspects of the project (including sub-grant, budget, staff & financial management, as well as capacity building and performance monitoring).
This position will be confirmed subject to availability of funding.
